RC JAPAN 1926 (GREEN) Mark Registered 1926
Noritake State, The backstamp was registered in Bombay India. R.C. stands for the intial of "Royal Crockery" (quality china). Made in Japan was printed in some cases but not in the othe case. It is said that laurel was added because it was to simple with R.C. only. For the export market.

This mark also at this time had the words MADE IN JAPAN as appears in the Red & Blue Versions
Note: this mark was reused during the late 1950's and 1960's and followed several variations.
