Knowledge Sharing Culture Solution
If you have old information such as catalogues, photos, stories of how your items were bought, where they were bought, invoices etc, which give us a glimpse into the past we would love to hear from you.

We welcome your positive engagement with us. Please send us your tangible material so that we can catalogue and publish for others to share.

Through 'constructive collaboration' with both stakeholders and researchers the Noritake Collectors Guild will continue to provide our visitors with access to qualitative information which can be both developed and shared with others who share similar interests.

Who can participate in this Project?

This is a UNIQUE PROJECT enabling both the Novice and Professional collector of Nippon and Noritake from 1905 to present day with an opportunity to receive (conserve) and share (publish) their findings from the information they have compiled to a worldwide audience on a FREE BASIS.

A Note to Novice and the Curious

If you are a Novice or simply have some information which you would like to share, don't be frightened to share your knowledge. Many people may know a great deal, but no one knows everything. Your snippet of information may help unravel a piece in a jigsaw puzzle that someone has been searching for years.

Why is the Noritake Collectors Guild commissioning this Project?

The Noritake Collectors Guild's 'Knowledge Partnership Project' is a genuine attempt to obtain reliable information from all sources to enable dedicated researchers to fill in the missing pieces of their jigsaw puzzles before time, and in particular the sources of information are lost for ever.

Sadly there are people who hoard knowledge, preferring to keep information to themselves. In doing so, knowledge is lost over time. Knowledge can take many forms, it is not just a notes you can read. Below is a list of knowledge you might have for example and with a little time and effort you can share this with others who also have an interest.

Examples of Knowledge

  • Pattern Guides
  • Old Catalogues
  • Backmarks
  • Photos of old window displays
  • Photos of old Road Side Display's
  • A completed collection of a old Noritake pattern.
  • A collection of various Tobacco ware sets
  • Dressing Table Sets
  • Dinner Sets
  • Breakfast Settings
  • Tea or Coffee Ware Settings
  • Fancy wares
  • Salad Ware
  • Vases
  • the list is almost endless.
As the Noritake Collectors Guild's is able to implement the required infrastructure we look forward to adding new and exciting information.
