Temperature Monitoring during the Biscuit Fire stage is critical. The high tech monitoring equipment ensures even distribution of heat to each piece as it is slowly heated to its maximum temperature. It reaches maximum heat in the middle of the Tunnel Kiln turning the greenware into 'biscuit porcelain' or a 'soft paste porcelain'. As each piece leaves the kiln the temperature is carefully monitored to ensure even cooling.
