'Biscuit Fire Kiln' - Greenware as it is called is first fired at 950oc, in the 'Biscuit Firing Tunnel Kiln'. The Biscuit firing stage provides the body of the piece with a perfect water-absorbing medium to ensure maximum absorption of the water based glaze.
